We are recruiting!

In 2012 Carl and Georgie Good set up a registered charity called ‘Lifeline Harrogate’.  Lifeline houses people who otherwise would be homeless.  We work in partnership with other homeless agencies in Harrogate including Harrogate Homeless Project, North Yorkshire Council, Probation, Shelter and Horizon Life Training.  We have a partnership with the national Charity Green Pastures (www.greeenpastures.net) who have bought Lifeline seven lovely 3-bedroom houses in the town which we use to house and support people to transition them towards full independence.

We have a vacancy for a Housing and Support Officer to work with some of our residents to provide move-on opportunities for those people who need a fresh-start.  This is a part-time post, 22.5 hours a week which has the possibility of more hours as we expand our operations.  The housing element of the work covers many landlord type duties, and the support element involves working with the resident through an agreed support plan.
This is a post that requires, amongst many other traits, character, determination and patience.
Lifeline is a Christian Charity and so due to the strong Christian ethos which underpins the values of Lifeline and its service delivery there is a genuine operational requirement for the postholder to be a practising Christian.

If you are interested, please could you provide your CV, application form and covering letter stating why you feel this role would be suitable for you.
